What We Offer

FAQs

Does EPA maintain an inventory of all brownfield sites in the U.S.?

No. EPA does not maintain a list of every brownfield site. You can use the EPA Cleanups in My Community platform (on the EPA website) to access information on brownfield sites addressed by EPA grantees using brownfields grant funding.

What programs are under GAP?

The EPA Indian Environmental General Assistance Program (GAP) does not have strict sub-programs; rather, it is a capacity-building grant program that funds federally recognized tribes and intertribal consortia to plan, develop, and establish their own environmental protection programs.
